Ho Chi Minh

Representing my travels through Viet Nam, Ho Chi Minh is made up of three movements. The first movement - North Vietnam - represents the bustling capital city of Hanoi, the serene Hạ Long Bay, and the rural, scarred countryside of the region. The second movement - Central Vietnam - begins with a night train to the former imperial capital of Hue, the old city of Hoi An, and the mountainous road to the city of Da Nang. The final movement - South Vietnam - marks a return to the chaos of the city; this time the bustling metropolis of Saigon. The movement then moves further south, to the maze-like network of rivers that comprise the Mekong Delta, before finishing with a small section representing the end of the war.
